BookCollar is an online marketplace platform that connects customers with independent third-party service providers who perform services in person.

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that BookCollar may process personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, applications, services, or platforms that BookCollar does not control, even if they are linked to or integrated with the Platform.

6. Provider Licensing, Permit, Certification, Registration, and Insurance Information

BookCollar may require providers to apply before being allowed to offer services on the Platform.

As part of provider onboarding, provider review, listing approval, or ongoing compliance review, BookCollar may collect information and documents related to provider qualifications, including:

- Licenses

- Permits

- Certifications

- Registrations

- Insurance documents

- Business licenses

- Professional credentials

- Expiration dates

- License numbers

- Issuing authorities

- Uploaded proof of compliance

- Provider attestations

- Review notes or verification status

- Records showing whether a license, permit, certification, registration, or insurance document appears valid, expired, missing, suspended, revoked, or unverifiable

BookCollar may use this information to review provider applications, determine whether a provider may list certain services, determine whether a provider account or listing should be paused, and support legal, safety, compliance, and marketplace integrity operations.

If a provider's required license, permit, certification, registration, or insurance expires, becomes invalid, is suspended, is revoked, cannot be verified, or is otherwise insufficient, BookCollar may use related information to pause, restrict, suspend, or remove the provider's account, listings, booking access, or other Platform features.

7. Booking Information

When a booking is requested, confirmed, modified, rescheduled, cancelled, refunded, disputed, or completed, we may collect information such as:

- Customer information

- Provider information

- Listing or service details

- Appointment date and time

- Service location

- Booking status

- Booking history

- Service price

- Fees

- Taxes, if applicable

- Add-ons

- Cancellation status

- Refund status

- Reschedule history

- No-show records

- Customer notes

- Provider notes

- Messages related to the booking

We use booking information to operate the Platform, process bookings, support customers and providers, enforce policies, resolve disputes, and maintain accurate business records.

8. Service Location Information

Because BookCollar connects customers and providers for in-person services, we may collect service location information.

We may share relevant service location information between the customer and provider involved in a booking so the service can be performed.

Users should not submit location information that is unnecessary for the booking.

9. Payment and Transaction Information

BookCollar may allow customers to pay for services through the Platform and may allow providers to receive payouts through the Platform.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors, such as Stripe or another payment partner.

We may collect and store payment-related information such as:

- Payment processor account ID

- Transaction ID

- Booking amount

- Platform fees

BookCollar does not intend to store full payment card numbers in its application database. Full payment card details are generally processed by third-party payment processors.

The Platform may allow customers, providers, and BookCollar to communicate through messaging, email, SMS, notifications, support tools, or other communication channels.

- Support, dispute, and safety reports may be reviewed by BookCollar and relevant service providers.

Users should not post or upload personal information they do not want others to see, unless the information is required for the relevant Platform feature.

BookCollar may remove or restrict content that violates Platform policies, legal requirements, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, safety standards, or community standards.

12. Device, Usage, Log, and Technical Information

When you access or use the Platform, we and our service providers may collect technical and usage information such as:

To facilitate bookings and service performance, BookCollar may share relevant information between customers and providers involved in a booking.

- Cancellation, refund, or reschedule information

Customers and providers may use shared information only for the purpose of communicating about, managing, performing, supporting, or resolving issues related to the booking or Platform relationship.

Users may not misuse information received through the Platform for harassment, spam, discrimination, fraud, off-platform solicitation, unauthorized marketing, or other prohibited purposes.

16. Sharing With Payment Processors and Financial Partners

BookCollar may share personal information, transaction information, and account information with payment processors and financial partners, including Stripe or other payment providers, to:

However, no internet, email, payment, storage, or electronic transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials, using strong passwords, maintaining secure devices, and promptly notifying BookCollar of suspected unauthorized access.

23. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended for use by children under 13.

BookCollar does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If BookCollar learns that it has collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, BookCollar will take steps to delete the information as required by law.

Users under 18 may not use the Platform unless expressly permitted by BookCollar and allowed by applicable law.

If BookCollar sends SMS/text messages, additional consent and opt-out terms may apply.

27. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Controls

Some browsers or devices may send "Do Not Track" or similar signals.

BookCollar's response to these signals may depend on applicable law, technical feasibility, and Platform configuration.

BookCollar may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Platform, business practices, legal requirements, or data practices.
